How to share your presentations

Sharing the raw Slideas presentation

Slideas presentations are a simple text file. There is no opaque file format. It can be open with your prefered Markdown (or text) editor. However, in order to preview, export or present them, you wil need to have a copy of Slideas available. While presentations are simple text files, there is a couple of considerations to keep in mind:

  • If you added local images (or videos) to your presentations, you will also need to distribute them. We recommend to store all resources in a subfolder at the same level of your main presentation file.
  • If you are using a custom theme, you will also need to provide it.

PDF Export

Slideas comes with an high quality PDF exporter. Except the bitmap images that you may add, the export is vector based and can be scaled while keeping its quality.

Exporting to PDF is the easiest way to share a Slideas presentation.

Version 1.0 does not allow yet to print directly from the application. An additional step is required: you need first to export to PDF and then to print the PDF (using for instance).
